Fire in the East

Above the city of Cedar City

The fire has been burning for four days. We looked over that direction on Sunday it was very small until Sunday night it took off in 60 mile an hour wind gust that night about eight more fires started.  They've been dumping water on them every day because there are houses around there somewhere. Then last night the wind quit blowing and I took this picture first thing this morning.

Rock pile along our walking path.
The one on the right looks like a mummy.

There are a lot of deer tracks but I can't figure out where they get water. No creeks around anywhere.

We walk on all kinds of  trails.
