March In The Desert

We are starting to see more color every time we go out for rides in this awesome desert.
I am so happy there is green grass and flowers and it's so amazing to see what has popped up out of the sand and rocks in the Arizona Desert.  We even found a little camping picnic area out there in a wash, it was such a special place that a couple chose to be married there.

Wednesday we went on a fun and beautiful ride with the Idaho People in the Park.

Yuma and Los Algodones,BC Mexico

This takes me back to the first post, LIKES AND LOVES NO DISLIKES HERE.  We have been in Yuma since the 15th of January and we love it here.  But we have been going to the Dentist in Mexico while we are here and that is a very big dislike, they are very good dentist though. While we are in Yuma we are exploring the area and different ways people stay all winter here.
Living the dream, some people wouldn't have it any other way.

Brick walls instead of chain link between lots everywhere around Yuma

Palms near the Colorado River
We were told 80 percent of the produce comes out of the Yuma area  for the U.S. in the winter months. We've seen every kind of citrus crop and lots of kinds of lettuce and cruciferous crops are grown here in Yuma county also. Yuma is also famous for those Date Palms.
