Koosharem Monday, Tuesday Traveling to Coral Pink Sand Dune State Park, Kanab

We took RZR up on Monroe mountain again on Monday and it is beautiful up there.  I would love to camp up there but gravel road is steep and curvy so it would have to be in a tent (no thanks, brrrrrrr).  I took over 100 pictures.  We stopped for a bit to stretch and heard an elk bugle.  It was so cool,  we only heard it once.  There were people up there spotting.  We went over mountain to the town of Koosharem meeting a party of 16 jeeps on the way back.

Tuesday we drove to Kanab, checking out the Coral Pink Sand Dune State Park on the way.  I was so disappointed.  The road is so worn out and narrow, no upkeep.  The park campground was so small.  The spaces were very narrow and short we wouldn't fit in them.  Glad we checked it out,  once your headed in there would be no place to turn around or even pull off of narrow road, 12 miles into park.  They've had a heavy rain and you could tell.  Highway 89 was nice going south, we cut across to I 15 on 389.
