Taylor Park, Colorado

We stayed at the Mesa campground in Gunnison Colorado for three days Aug. 3-5. The museum in Gunnison is 29 buildings and we really enjoyed going through it.  We drove to Taylor Park / Dream Ranch R.V. Park for the rzr forum rally (over 600  attended) on the 5th and stayed for 9 days there before moving to our dry camp spot we are in now. Some of the places we've been to in the RZR are breathtaking.  The weather here has not been above 75 degrees the entire time it's been raining almost every afternoon. The lows at night are 28 - 31 and we don't run the furnace till we wake up in the morning to take the chill off.
Here is a list of some of the places we've been here.
TINCUP - THE TOWN
MIRROR LAKE
MIRROR LAKE

TINCUP PASS  CONT. DIVIDE ELEV. 12154 FT.
ST. ELMO - THE HISTORIC TOWN PAST  TIN CUP PASS
CUMBERLAND PASS - ELEV. 12015 FT.
CROSS MOUNTAIN - ELEV. 12500
PITKIN - OVER CUMBERLAND PASS ANOTHER MINING TOWN
PIE PLANT - OLD MINING TOWN ONE BUILDING LEFT AND THE MINE RUINS
We attempted to go to a mining tunnel in the mountains Alpine Tunnel but trail was closed 3 MILES FROM TUNNEL because of rock slide.
We drove along Texas creek toward Texas lakes and stopped at the bridge. Trail turns to 50'' and were a lot wider than that.
We've met a lot of nice people from Texas,  they stay around here to stay cool in the summer,  it's a great vacation spot.
We drove back into Gunnison for groceries.
We checked out the Town of Crested Butte, there is a ski lodge there and the town was packed with tourist. Had pizza at the BRICK OVEN PIZZARIA there then got the heck out of town..
The elevation in Taylor park is 9544 where we're camped now. I have an app on the phone called My Elevation,  how handy. IF there is any internet it works.
